Hi, I’m Ryan. Thanks for stopping by.
I grew up around backyard birds, and I’ve never really stopped watching them. Today I run two Birdfy smart feeders in my own backyard, which gives me a close-up look at whoever shows up.
What FeederKeep covers
FeederKeep is about three things: keeping squirrels off your feeders, picking the right poles and baffles, and deciding which smart camera feeder is worth your money. Those are the questions that come up again and again for anyone who feeds birds, and they’re the ones this site tries to answer clearly.
How the guides are made
Most of the guides here are research-based. I work from manufacturer specs, product pages, help-center documentation, and published reviews, and I say where the information comes from. When something comes from my own yard, I say that plainly too. If I haven’t used a product myself, I won’t pretend I have: you won’t see “we tested” on a page unless the testing actually happened. Specs, features, and prices change often, so each guide notes when its sources were checked.
How the site makes money
FeederKeep is reader-supported. Some links on the site are affiliate links, so if you buy something through one, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That never decides what I recommend, and I’ll always tell you when a page contains those links. You can read the details on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
